Our client is looking for an experienced accountant able to manage accounting and tax returns for a SOPARFI, with at least 5 years'' experience in the sector, technical skills in Luxembourg taxation and a command of accounting and tax tools. Description Responsibilities include accounting and financial management, such as drawing up the Group''s weekly valuation report. It is also necessary to book day to day operations and monitor payment of supplier invoices. Other tasks include updating accounting documentation and preparing audit files for the auditors. In addition, various account analyses are required. As far as tax declarations are concerned, Luxembourg tax returns have to be prepared, and various tax declarations such as VAT and tantiemes have to be drawn up. It is essential to ensure compliance with local tax regulations and obligations. Profile At least 5 years'' professional experience in accounting in a SOPARFI or in an accounting firm that has dealt with SOPARFIs is required. BAC+3 in accounting, finance or equivalent is required. Fluency in French and professional English is mandatory. Working knowledge of Luxembourg taxation is a plus. Familiarity with accounting and tax tools (BOB50, SAP) is required. Proficiency in Excel is essential.
