Specifically, we are looking for a Shift Supervisor who wants to join the company and our project in Brunsbüttel.
Mission
Manage the operation and works in the facilities according to the approved procedures, ensuring compliance with the production programs safely and in the best technical, economic and environmental conditions.
The Shift Supervisor will act as the leader of the shift team, leading and supervising ongoing activities in the terminal as well as support operations and maintenance department as required.
Functions
* Support the Operation and Maintenance Supervisor on maintenance plans definition and execution as well as operation duties of the Terminal (operation management, StS operations, etc.).
* Adjust the operation of the Terminal to meet nomination requirements.
* Oversee the overall operation of the Terminal from the control room.
* Respond to emergencies.
* Carry out simple maintenance tasks contributing to the technical integrity of the facilities when applicable.
* Monitor and control safe working practices.
* Manage the work carried out by the personnel under his charge, optimizing the use of said resources and controlling their permanence in the facilities.
* Analyze, control and report incidents and recommendations related to the operation of the facility and propose corrective actions; as well as studying and proposing modes of operation that avoid incidents and anomalies.
* Prepare reports on the work done and incidents occurred and complete in the "shift book" the events that occurred on your shift.
* Develop and approve relevant Permit to Work and supervise execution of the works when applicable.
Knowledge
* Extensive knowledge about LNG cargo operations, including cargo transfer, Ship-to-Ship operations and LNG regasification processes.
* Desirable knowledge about chromatography systems and gas metering technologies.
* Knowledge about emergency procedures and safety equipment such as lifesaving, firefighting, performance of drills, communication procedures in emergencies, etc.
* General overview of pollution prevention systems and equipment and pollution prevention procedures.
* Safe working practices: occupational safety, permit to work, confined spaces, etc.
* General knowledge about working in hazardous areas.
Experience
* More than 10 years of experience in oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years of proven experience in LNG.
Requirements
* Fluent in English (C1).
* Desirable German (B2).
* Other competences such as analytical thinking, planning and teamwork will be highly valued.
