Your role
You will develop and implement computational methods for the analysis of biological SAXS data. In this role, you will create new data analysis methods, collaborate with users on their data analysis needs, and adapt approaches for advanced experiments such as time-resolved and high-throughput measurements. Additionally, you will contribute to SAXS services, including the development and maintenance of the SASBDB database, and present BioSAXS activities at conferences and workshops.
You will also provide user support as a Local Contact and troubleshoot technical and operational issues. This position requires (and allows for) a flexible working schedule.

You have
7. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, mathematics, physics, and/or engineering, or a degree in biological sciences with demonstrated experience in computational methods development.
8. Strong proficiency in Python.
9. Experience in database maintenance and development or in data analysis pipeline would be a plus.
10. Previous experience in SAXS/SANS or structural biology is advantageous.
11. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating within a team are essential.
