Are you able to grow and manage our conveyor and transport system portfolio to machine builders and distributors in central Europe? We are looking for an Export Manager (m/w/d ) with a lot of energy and a strong background in OEM solution sales, ideally based in Germany.
Your role is to sell our strong solutions directly to machine builders and distributors that need operational reliability and uptime. At Ellegaard Group A/S, we are growing the export team with an active and determined Export Manager for consulting and solution sales to customers mainly in Central Europe. Your role will be to present yourself as a partner for the customers, so they choose our specialized solutions, and long lasting relationships are established.
You will be part of a small but growing sales team, to continue many years of export success globally. We have been a leader in the material flow domain for more than four decades, and our solutions are applied in production facilities and as components of machines for agriculture, food, medical and many other sectors. You will be responsible for selling these solutions to machine builders/ distributor customers in Europe, as the customers worldwide require more optimized and environmentally friendly production.
You will work with existing customers as well as finding new key accounts, and you will make your own plan for how to approach them. Your goal is to create/develop and then sustain and increase sales to customers by being focused and consistent. You will need to be patient and persistent in talking to customers, as it often requires many steps to enter the market and make a sale. You will arrange your own travel activity of 30-50 days per year. You should plan to spend about 80% of your time on getting and growing new customers in existing markets, and about 20% of your time on already existing customers.
