Your role
The Enterprise Application Integration Platforms department is one of six strategic units within the Digital Experience Platforms Corporate IT area. In this department, we link partners and consumers to the digital ecosystem from ZEISS in an intelligent and operationally sustainable way so that hundreds of applications can exchange data internally and across ZEISS boundaries. ZEISS relies on us to always protect data privacy and ensure maximum security.
As an SAP Integration Developer and Consultant, you realize the connections in this ecosystem to our SAP landscape, in which we operate both SAP S4 and SAP R3 systems. You are primarily responsible for the connection of SAP DMC, otherwise you will work with the team on implementations in Cloud Integration on the SAP Integration Suite. Thereby you will work on the interface requirements together with business analysts and the business to create interfaces that meet the current technical standard. Based on the interface requirements, you implement the interfaces on the SAP Integration platforms Cloud Integration and SAP Process Orchestration. After the implementation, you are also responsible for the operation of the interfaces.
Tasks :
1. You are responsible for the integration of SAP DMC via SAP Cloud Integration into our SAP landscape by using pre-packaged content and, if necessary, extending this SAP content.
2. You are responsible for implementing the process integrations via SAP Integration Suite and SAP PO for our internal customers.
3. You design interface connections based on S/4HANA and SAP R/3 in conjunction with our digital innovations.
4. You are responsible for developing solution architectures that can be found around application and cloud integration with SAP PO, SAP CI or BTP (Business Technology Platform)
5. Together with our business analysts, you advise internal customers in the integration environment.
6. Your tasks include creating requirement and performance specifications, as well as controlling and monitoring application tests.
7. You transfer the implemented interfaces to the productive environment, with subsequent responsibility for operating the interfaces.
8. You are involved in cross-system error analysis, which also includes viewing the E2E process.
Your profile :
9. Successful completion of studies in informatics or business informatics or comparable relevant IT education
10. Deep professional experience with SAP PI/PO and very good knowledge with SAP Integration Suite
11. Knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) complements your profile.
12. Knowledge of current interface standards and older architectures.
13. Knowledge of graphic mapping, Java and XSL transformations. Groovy know-how rounds off the profile.
14. Your skills include process understanding and good communication skills in the IT and non-IT environment.
