To support our Shipmanagement at the next possible time, we are looking for a QHSE Superintedent (m/f/d) Your tasks and responsibilities: Act as primary & designated point of contact for internal and external safety, security and environmental related inquiries for vessels within a technical fleet team Prepare ships and follow up on any type of audits / inspections in close cooperation with Master, C/E and internal stakeholders to guarantee excellent inspection results Review reports of non-conformities, accidents, incidents, near misses and internal NCRs and ensure quality data is captured Be responsible for post-incident investigations, analysing causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence Conduct internal audits for safety, security, environmental measures, taking into account the certified standards and implemented company expectations Take responsibility for the content, introduction, training, and document control of company's management system and liaise with peer-level, technical fleet team and direct superior related to improvement potentials Act as a key member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), taking part in incident management and coordination Your profile Seagoing experience in position as Master or Chief Officer OR minimum 2 years shore experience in a similar role of a QHSE / Nautical/ Vetting Superintendent Persuasiveness and enthusiasm as well as the ability to contribute positively as part of a team and to adapt to a diverse working and team environment Effective interpersonal communication skills and the willingness to travel Good self organization, a structured way of working and effective time management Self motivation and the ability to work successfully under time pressure Fluent in spoken and written English Proficient in all Microsoft 365 Office applications Good presentation skills Our benefits a challenging and varied job with a lot of (personal) responsibility a pleasant working atmosphere in a highly motivated, dynamic team as well as individual perspectives for further development an exclusive working environment at the Elbe with an in-house fitness area and company restaurant an attractive salary package with many offers for financial security, mobility and other financial benefits We would like to welcome you on board Do you think the position matches your expectations?
