Postdoctoral Researcher in Structural Biology of Inflammation
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen - Medizinische Fakultät. The successful candidate will work on structural and functional aspects of inflammatory pathways underlying various diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform molecular biology techniques, including cloning, mutagenesis, and recombinant protein expression
* Conduct protein biochemistry assays, such as SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, and fluorescence/activity assays
* Execute cell culture and cell-based assays, including stable cell line generation and viability testing
* Analyze experimental data and interpret results for scientific reporting
* Write and present scientific findings clearly and effectively
Requirements:
* PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, life sciences, or a related discipline
* Hands-on experience in molecular/cellular biology and protein biochemistry
* Experience in structural biology is desirable
* High levels of self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team
* Strong interest in structural biology and immunity
* Excellent organization and communication skills
* Fluency in English (written and spoken)
