We are currently seeking to hire a highly motivated and dedicated Senior FP&A Analyst into our Global FP&A team based at either our Headquarters in Hamburg, Germany or in Abingdon, UK. This is a key position within our Global FP&A organization, reporting to the Vice President FP&A. The position is responsible for supporting global FP&A activities for Evotec Group, including, but not limited to, the global budgeting process and mid-range planning, scenario modelling, and the global internal reporting framework.
This is open to applicants willing to work from Hamburg, Germany, or Abingdon, UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Group Financial Planning and Analysis by providing strategic insights to the executive team and other key stakeholders
2. Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecast, and mid/long-range plans for Evotec Group.
3. Develop and maintain financial scenario models to evaluate the impacts of various strategies
4. Collaborate with Business Controlling and Business Area Finance to ensure proper and timely internal financial reporting
5. Consolidate Business Area and Entity-level financial results to create one global P&L
6. Enhance and maintain the financial data model to allow for optimal financial reporting transparency and timeliness
7. Support the implementation of OneStream for FP&A purposes (already implemented for Consolidation)
Ideal Qualifications:
8. University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
9. Significant relevant professional working experience in a similar role, ideally within life sciences / pharmaceutical sector, and/or within a public company
10. Experience of working in an international environment
11. Experience in a Group FP&A environment
12. Strong financial modelling skillset
13. Experience with PCAOB Audits and Sarbanes Oxley a plus
14. Business fluent in English, German a plus, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
