Vice President Liners & Supplies PLM and Dairy Expertise (m/f/d)
GEA Farm Technologies is a global agricultural technology company specializing in the development and manufacture of innovative solutions for dairy farms. We are looking for a Vice President (m/f/d) to lead our team in the Liners & Supplies department at the Bönen site as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute product vision and strategy for Liners & Supplies and Dairy Expertise.
2. Ensure active product management (product development, product maintenance, master data management, etc.).
3. Lead and drive a team of product managers and specialists for the Liners & Supplies, as well as a team of Milking Experts and a Herd Management team.
4. Manage a global team of milking experts and herd managers, consisting of direct reports in the division Farm Technologies, and dotted reporting team members in the Regions & Countries.
5. Deliver support for countries including training, product launches, etc.
6. Full P&L responsibility for Liners & Supplies global budget ensuring financial expectations are achieved.
7. Develop consulting services around milking expertise and herd management.
8. Alignment with local management and Region & Countries and external dealerships.
9. Support cross-selling with other Service PLMs (e.g., Hygiene, Spare parts) and New Equipment PLMs, including SLAs, warranty programs, digital products, consulting, etc.
Qualifications:
1. University degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business Development, or Marketing, or comparable experience.
2. Strong people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
3. Deep knowledge and understanding of FT markets and requirements.
4. Proven background in managing global teams.
5. Professional experience in enacting change within a matrix organization.
6. Communication, leadership, and accountability skills.
7. Proven “can do” attitude to go beyond the regular scope of responsibilities.
8. Decision-making competence and driver mentality.
9. Team player, empathic, authentic.
10. Experience in change processes and fast-changing organizations.
11. English language essential; German language is a plus.
12. Willingness to travel and be mobile (internationally).
