For our Portfolio Management team in Wertheim we are looking with immediate effect for a Product Management Associate (m/f/d) The Product Management Associate supports projects to optimize the lifecycle of our products in the Engineered Products Nonwovens business unit with a focus on Glass Nonwovens and help realize the sales objectives of the division. The position holder will consolidate and analyze portfolio with the focus on identifying areas of improvement and on tracking the economic success of product initiatives. He/she monitors sustainable product offerings, develops value propositions, works closely with the global portfolio team and improves global product management scorecards. The Product Management Associate coordinates the European customer agreements with multi-functional departments. Your Responsibilities Determine market and competitive information requirements to assess portfolio performance and align the portfolio to marketing strategies, market requirements and competitive offerings Manage customer requirements and coordinate internal processes accordingly Determine the desired position of the portfolio and product lines Standardization of data collection: market size, growth and competitive data Collaborate with Portfolio manager on specific projects (rationalization, SAP, Packaging, Service offerings, ABC analysis, inventory management) Support Portfolio Roadmap development Validate existing product value propositions versus true market needs Support Business Case projects to adapt product mix with future market demands Global collaboration with North America/European Portfolio Team What you bring to the team Bachelor’s degree in either engineering or business-related fields At least (5) years in technical/commercial roles/portfolio management or project management and prior experience in building products Strong analytical skills with preferably some experience in financial, product, customer needs and market research Master in coordination work in a structured way, you are accurate and have an eye for details Previous experience in sustainability projects Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBI Fluent language skills in German and English are a prerequisite Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Organizational skills Adaptability and eager to learn product management tools You are able to work efficiently and to prioritize.
