Hauptaufgaben Performs the day-to-day operation of the CIF Customer Service Section in accordance with governing regulations, directives, published guides and local policies. Report to the chief or Manager of any issue pertaining to customers that may affect the day-to-day operation. Responsible for the receipt, storage, inspection, classification, safeguarding, and accountability of Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) received from the Property Book Officer. Performs issues, receives turn-ins, and conducts direct exchange transactions of OCIE with supported customers using the Installation Support Module (ISM) automated property book system. Through access of the USAREUR Community Automation System (UCAS) or IN/OUT Processing Installation Support Module (ISM), identifies customers scheduled to receive/turn-in OCIE. Calculates OCIE requirements based on the number of scheduled individuals, Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), unit of assignment, and deployment status; requests OCIE from the central warehouse as needed to meet those requirements. Incumbent insures procedures as outlined in pertinent SOPs are complied with to include classification and disposition of equipment, establishment of due-out issue procedures, and determinations of damage through fault/neglect or fair wear and tear. Conducts scheduled and special inventories and, as needed, investigates inventory discrepancies and prepares and submits adjustment documents. Determines space requirements for new or additional mission needs and performs re-warehousing as required. Ensures supplies and equipment are properly handled, stored and maintained. Must be able to multi-task. Maintains an automated property book and associated documentation including voucher files, hand receipts, and document registers. Posts receipts, issues, adjustment documents, lateral transfers, and hand receipt transactions to the property book. Routine maintenance of the property book consists of extracting pertinent information from standard supply documents, change notices, procurement documents, and verification of accuracy of stock identification, quantity, cost, and other data. Maintains functional files and performs various other administrative functions to include collection and consolidation of feeder data for the preparation of various recurring and special reports. Serves as source of reference for supported units as to procedural aspects of supply transactions including the proper preparation and distribution of Reports of Survey and Statements of Charges/Cash Collection Vouchers. Reviews request justifications from serviced units for property not on plan and recommends actions to the property book officer for additions, deletions, or changes as required. Coordinates with units for bulk issues of OCIE when push packages or a new equipment fielding. Performs other duties as assigned.
