Your tasks:
* Preparation of annual financial statements (German Commercial Code), consolidated financial statements (German Commercial Code), monthly financial statements (accounts/month/year)
* Contact for tax advisors, auditors, and tax auditors
* Coordination of the accounting department of the US subsidiary
* Financial controlling for the V-LINE GROUP, monthly financial reporting including target/actual comparisons
* Budget and forecast processes for liquidity requirements
* Monitoring and accounting processing of securities accounts
* Commission statements and determination of compensation payments (transfer pricing)
* Financial reporting (including calculation of finance KPIs), further standardization, also using business analytics tools (including Analyses for Office (AfO), Power BI)
* Setup and expansion of the finance controlling systems and reporting of foreign subsidiaries
* Business analyses and special projects
* Optimization/digitalization of processes in the V-LINE GROUP's FINANCE department
Your Profile:
* Completed degree in business or economics, preferably with a focus on finance/controlling, or comparable qualifications
* Experience in auditing, tax consulting, or a commercial vocational training is an advantage
* Practical experience in preparing annual financial statements
* Practical knowledge, particularly in the areas of US GAAP and IFRS, is an advantage
* Confident use of SAP (FI, CO) and common MS Office programs (especially Excel), and IT affinity. Knowledge of Business Warehouse and Power BI is an advantage
* Excellent English skills and willingness to travel
* Strong analytical skills, team spirit, and assertiveness
* A high degree of results orientation, initiative, and reliability
