Project Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to undertake a Bachelor's or Master's thesis project in Engineering. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in comparing surface pretreatment methods for adhesive bonding processes on thermoplastic composites. This project offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both literature research and practical testing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct literature research on various surface pretreatment methods for adhesive bonding processes on thermoplastic composites
* Compare different methods in terms of adhesion promotion, manufacturing process integration, cost efficiency, and sustainability
* Perform practical testing using qualitative and quantitative methods
* Conduct statistical evaluation of test results
* Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate findings into manufacturing processes
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings
Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with adhesive bonding processes and thermoplastic composites is a plus
* Experience with statistical analysis and testing methods
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
