Job Description Summary Reporting to Power Transmission S&OP Leader, the planning initiative manager is responsible for leading Initiatives & projects in order to improve Power Transmission plant planning process and accuracy. The Industrial Planning And Scheduling Initiative Leader will operationally support the PT plants in improving their planning practices and tools and contribute to drive Planning processes, on-time delivery, hours and output optimization in order to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal U/O recovery. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: - Act as Business Process Expert for Planning (S&OP, MPS,MRP and detailed scheduling) - Benchmark best practices across businesses, industries and plants to optimize the planning efficiency and efficacy. - Support plants in improving their MPS/MRP process to increase adherence to plan and planning accuracy and improve use of available capacity - Increase/improve use of SAP in the planning area, and identify potential needs of additional digital tools for planning - Contribute to design and implement innovative digital tools related to planning and scheduling, if needed, and ensure consistency across the organization - Align digital roadmap with the DT team and ensure that a standardize approach is taken across the business - Support development of SAP analytics tools to track hours and output automatically and slowly reduce the need of manual inputs where possible - Investigate potential use of AI in the planning/material area - International and Domestic Travel 30 - 35% Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant department - Proficiency in English is mandatory, and additional language skills are a plus - Minimum of 5 year experience as an Industrial Planning And Scheduling Initiative Leader or similar experience - Minimum 10 year experience in SC / Manufacturing etc. - Strong interpersonal skills, Lean mindset & Continuous improvement attitude - Strong Knowledge of SAP Planning/Scheduling Functionalities Desired Characteristics: - Broad competence in flow analyses - Appetite for digital tools - CPIM certification is a plus Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No
