Job DescriptionAbout the Role
As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect, you will play a strategic role in driving revenue growth by partnering with the Sales organization to deliver impactful, value-driven technical presentations, technical expertise, and consultative guidance to prospects. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between customer needs, HiBob’s solutions, and product and integration innovation.
Your role will be instrumental in solutioning technical blockers, enabling sales teams, and working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships to ensure seamless integrations and a best-in-class customer experience.
This role is perfect for an experienced, motivated, and self-driven pre-sales professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.
Job Requirements
* 6+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or sales engineering role within a SaaS company.
* Proven ability to partner with Sales to drive revenue and solve technical challenges in enterprise sales cycles.
* Strong technical expertise in APIs, Webhooks, SSO, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure), and Identity Providers (Okta, LDAP, AD).
* Familiarity with HR, Payroll, and Recruitment systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paylocity, Greenhouse).
* Ability to diagram complex solutions using Visio, Figma, or similar tools.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience working in complex IT environments and managing stakeholder expectations.
Strong time management, project management, and prioritization skills.
Bonus: Experience in HR technology or HCM platforms, and/or a background in software development, scripting, or technical consulting.
Job ResponsibilitiesPartner with Sales to Drive Revenue Growth
* Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Engineers to deeply understand prospects’ technical and business challenges.
* Architect scalable, best-fit solutions using HiBob’s platform, API ecosystem, and third-party integrations.
* Lead technical discussions, demonstrations, and data flow mapping exercises to ensure alignment between HiBob and customer needs.
* Address and resolve technical blockers in sales cycles, ensuring a smooth path to deal closure.
Technical Advisory & Solutioning
* Act as the subject matter expert on integrations, APIs, and technical capabilities, guiding prospects through complex requirements.
* Support strategic enterprise and high-value deals, ensuring seamless technical validation and stakeholder alignment.
* Create and present technical diagrams (e.g., Visio, Figma) that outline solution architectures.
Enablement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Develop technical enablement materials, documentation, and best practices to support the Sales Engineering and Sales teams.
* Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships to provide feedback on customer needs and ensure alignment with HiBob’s roadmap.
* Partner with Product Marketing to refine technical messaging, differentiators, and competitive positioning.
* Lead technical training sessions for the pre-sales team to ensure deep product knowledge and up-to-date expertise.
Product & Integration Strategy
* Engage with HiBob’s product and engineering teams to advocate for customer needs and drive enhancements to APIs and integrations.
* Serve as a technical liaison during product development phases, including feature request reviews and alpha/beta testing.
* Strengthen relationships with integration partners (e.g., Workday, ADP, Okta) to showcase their value in HiBob’s ecosystem.
