Role & Responsibilities
Provide actuarial consulting services focused on reserving, including the analysis of claims data, reserve estimation, and risk modeling
Lead and manage the preparation of reserve reports for clients, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards
Develop and refine actuarial models for reserving purposes, using relevant methodologies
Collaborate with clients to interpret findings and provide actionable recommendations for improving their reserve positions
Mentor junior analysts, offering guidance and development opportunities
Skills, Knowledge, Experience
Actuarial exams (e.g. FIA, DAV, FCAS or equivalent) completed, at least 3 years of actuarial experience, with a strong focus on reserving
Advanced knowledge of actuarial techniques, especially those related to reserving (e.g., chain-ladder, Bornhuetter-Ferguson, and stochastic models)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights
Solid understanding of European insurance regulatory frameworks and financial reporting standards (IFRS, Solvency II)
Excellent communication skills in Englisch and German, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
