For our facility in Heidelberg we are looking for a highly engaged Senior HR Business Partner (m/f/d), to be part of our european HR team. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will support a very diverse and international business to ensure that effective systems & processes are in place to drive the business and help to deliver people management strategies which support the overall strategic aims and objectives of the business.
Your responsibilities:
* You will assume responsibility for delivering advanced-level generalist duties, tackling highly intricate matters within the HR domain. Mastery of principles, practices, and procedures across multiple functional areas such as recruitment, employee and/or labour relations, compensation and benefits, and organizational development and training is essential.
* We want you to foster a collaborative atmosphere and be a trusted partner to our employees, the management and the works council.
* You will initiate and support effective change management initiatives and lead organizational development needs, implements effective solutions, and build effective teams.
* You will support the ongoing development of our internal talents by identifying training needs, designing, and conducting training programs and evaluating the effectiveness of these programs that support the organization’s need for developing the knowledge and capabilities of all internal talents.
* You will lead our global compensation process, our performance management process and all talent management activities.
* We want you to recommends, develop, communicate, and implement new approaches, policies, practices, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department, services performed and resolution of problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with regulations or government law.
Your Qualifications:
* Degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant area
* Ideally you will have 6-8 years Business HR experience and experience of one other HR specialization; automotive industry knowledge would be preferred
* You have a deep understanding of labour law as well as the works constitution law
* You will combine a passion for people with a strong business acumen
* You are not afraid to take initiative or to take on challenging assignments and creates opportunity where none exists.
* You demonstrate advanced competency for trouble-shooting and problem solving
* You have strong communication and negotiation skills which enables you to reach solutions at eye level with all your partners at all level
