About the team:
The mission of SAP’s Product Management team is to protect and grow SAP’s core business and in addition evolve this business into the cloud. We, as a team, are responsible for driving the definition of the SAP LoB Procurement strategy and managing the SAP’s Procurement product portfolio, as well as identifying market and customer needs and translating them into consumable product requirements for the engineering teams
Our product management unit has end-to-end responsibility for all product capabilities in the area of Procurement and Logistics. We collaborate closely with our engineering, solution management and data scientist teams as well as with customers (incl. customer co-innovations) on continuously improving our portfolio product towards long term customer success.
We:
• Shape, drive, and communicate the strategy and own the product roadmap
• Create and prioritize the product backlog by gathering market and customer insights and translating these into product requirements
• Enable the successful delivery of products that meet market and customer needs, by focusing on defined end-to-end processes and priorities across all functional areas and Lines of Business.

We are looking for a passionate intern (m/f/d) to join our LoB Procurement Incubation team. You will join a team of experienced and motivated product managers, who are holistically responsible to define the next generation of Procurement related business processes at SAP. Your focus will be on supporting the product managers and conducting own research and idea generation for AI and sustainability driven topics. You need to be able to communicate fluently in German and English.
In this role, you’ll:
The SAP Procurement Incubation Team seeks an intern interested in bringing new ideas, research and engagement opportunities for intelligent and sustainable procurement features and incubation related topics into the backlog. You will support in shaping, driving and communicating the strategy as well as working on assigned sub-projects independently.
You will have the opportunity to meet and learn from AI scientists, data engineers, software developers and product managers and get insights to identify and solve challenging problems. Thereby, you will actively contribute to deliver high value and thrill customers with an intelligent, sustainable purchasing experience.
Who you are:
You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
• High-school diploma or equivalent education
• First experiences in managing projects or developing software projects
• Interest for AI, sustainability and procurement processes and ability to quickly familiarize with new topics
• Solid skills for creating and using assets within MS Suite and image editing (e.g. photoshop, Figma, Gimp or Paint)
• Self-motivation, engagement and willingness to learn
• Ability to communicate and present fluently in German and English
