As a key contributorwithin Cytiva, the Sales Specialist, Validation ServicesDACH region plays a pivotal role in driving the growthand strategic positioning of our Validation Services solutionswithin the Fast Trak™ portfolio. This highly independent andimpactful position involves developing and executing acomprehensive sales action plan aimed at achieving and surpassingEuropean sales targets, while reinforcing Cytiva's leadership inthe biopharma servicesmarket.
This position is partof the PDVS commercial organization. It reports to the SeniorDirector Global Sales, PDVS. Assigned territory is Germany, Austriaand Switzerland. It will be fully remote and can be locatedanywhere in the assigned region. At Cytiva, our vision is, toadvance future therapeutics from discovery todelivery.
What youwill do:
* Develop and executea sales action plan for the assigned region to meet or exceedmonthly, quarterly, and annual sales and orders targets throughdirect sales activities and partnership with Account Managers andrelevant Sales Specialists. (Across Bioprocess, BIS and GenMedOp-Cos).
* Establish strongrelationships with customer end-users and leaders in the assignedregion to successfully promote Cytiva Validation Servicessolutions, technologies andcapabilities.
* Provideconsultative technical support for processes that requirevalidation services and to develop and support solutions that meetor exceed the customers'expectations.
* Report andcommunicate all business opportunities, solution concepts andstrategies while participating and leading funnel review calls.Effectively utilize FunnelManagement.
* Expand thevalidation services business by gaining market share in existing(and new) accounts by establishing strong relationships withend-users and successfully promoting validation servicescapabilities
Whoyou are:
* EducationalBackground: BSc in Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Life Sciencesor equivalent experience.
* Industry Experience:Strong experience in bioprocess/pharmaceutical manufacturing/CDMOenvironment or related field
* Commercial Acumen:First commercial experience (e.g. sales, account management orproject managemnt) in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CDMO field ispreferred
* Technical Understanding: Strongunderstanding of regulatory and analytical aspects in thevalidationenvironment
Travel,Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/EnvironmentRequirements:
* Ability totravel – up to 50% with incl. occational overnight, within regionas well as occasional overseas travels
* Musthave a valid driver’s license with an acceptable drivingrecord
Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein:
* Experience in validationservices for complex molecules such as mAbs as well as newmodalities such as viral vectors, mRNA, pDNA, etc. and newmodalities to identify opportunities for furthergrowth
