A sales professional who will own and develop our Issuing business in Germany and help many companies realize the growth potential they can unlock via Embedded Finance. Based flexibly from home, your focus will thus be building our issuing business, managing risk and margins, and delivering an exceptional level of consultative sales services to our prospects. Closing new issuing business will be your focus and main driver, which includes achieving targets and building a healthy sales pipeline. You will be responsible for the delivery of issuing sales. This involves a blend of business development, marketing, sales, partner, and customer engagement to drive business growth and market share. It also involves generating demand for the company’s products, running your own direct and channel sales activities (e.g., via Linked In / leveraging your existing professional network) and developing strong relationships with relevant industry partners and trade bodies / associations. The role involves travel. About you: Strong payment business developer & sales professional, with a consistently successful sales track record in payments/issuing and experience of sourcing, converting and closing new business. Background at a comparable payments firm, with a track record of sales success and ability to create a business sales plan and execute that plan. A self-starter and a person who know how to pitch and construct a deal to win - a huge opportunity & the whole of the market to awaits you Must have the drive and ambition to push a new and innovative alternative payments brand. Start-up knowledge/background is useful but not essential - we're not a corporate and don't work like one, everyone gets stuck in & gets involved to get the job done. The ambition to build a sales pipeline and create a new customer portfolio. The primary responsibilities of the Senior BD Manager role will be: To develop and implement relevant sales and marketing strategies, plans and activities to achieve your revenue objectives & develop a pipeline of projects and clients (and to reflect these in the Paynetics CRM process/system). To be a collaborative partner with your colleagues in all relevant teams including IT, Operations, Compliance, Product and across the Commercial team to play your role in developing a positive culture and focus on customer centricity and of continuous improvement.
