What you’ll do
We’re looking for a highly skilled IoT HR Manager to join our dynamic team in either Düsseldorf or Munich, Germany!
The role involves defining, owning, and implementing a strategic employee relations roadmap for IoT in close collaboration with the IoT Works Council. This includes managing employee relations in Germany by liaising with IoT HR Business Partners, functional managers, entity directors, and Works Councils to influence and facilitate organizational changes.
The experienced HR Manager will support all IoT functions in understanding the employee relations implications of these changes, guiding HRBPs and business leaders to align with the local Works Council. As a member of the IoT HR team, the role also provides HRBP support to ILT members and leads a functional HR area globally, such as organizational design and effectiveness, which will be phased in once the IoT Legal Entity in Germany is established.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with extensive experience dealing with Works Councils and a broad background in employee relations and HR, both as a specialist and a generalist. Your relationship and coaching skills are top-notch, and you excel in both written and verbal communication. Ideally, you have international experience working for large, global, matrixed blue-chip organizations. You are data-driven and proactive, leveraging data to drive decisions and always staying a step ahead in anticipating and addressing challenges.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:
1. Works Council Expertise: Regular experience dealing with Works Councils.
2. HR Breadth: A good breadth of employee relations and HR experience.
3. Communication Skills: Strong relationship and coaching skills; excellent written and verbal communicator.
4. Global Experience: Ideally, experience in large, global, matrixed blue-chip organizations.
5. Proactive Approach: Data-driven and proactive in your work.
Must-Have Technical / Professional Qualifications:
6. Language Proficiency: Fluent in German.
7. Legal Knowledge: In-depth understanding of German labor law and the Works Constitution Act.
