You have the option of completing an internship with a weekly working time of 38 hours or opting for a flexible working student job of between 10 and 20 hours per week, depending on your individual needs. You will participate in targeted training sessions and team meetings of the e-Traction Systems Engineering Power Electronics organizational unit, work on projects and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by an IAV employee who will ensure that you gain valuable experience. Your Tasks: You will work on internal projects to achieve desired customer outcomes and identify business improvements. You will learn our internal software to support the execution of projects and tasks. You will work with cross-functional teams and other students to promote interaction and networking in a global business environment. Necessary Skills: Ongoing studies in electronics, information technology, computer science, industrial engineering or similar degree programs You have a strong spatial sense, technical understanding, analytical thinking skills, a high willingness to learn and communication skills You enjoy working in a team German and English language skills (at least C1 level) Desired Skills: Understanding of power electronic components and circuits Experience with circuit simulation programs (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink or (LT)Spice) Programming skills in Python, C, C++ or Java Functional understanding of the components: voltage intermediate circuit inverter, electrical machine, vehicle HV battery, transmission Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement.
