Lead Intel Planner-Languages with clearance-OCONUS Job Category: Intelligence Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular-Long Term Assignment Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Outside Continental US The Opportunity: As a CACI-SOAS USAREUR-AF Lead Intel Planner Languages you will support US Army Europe/Africa G2 and other Intelligence related mission partners, as a key team member of a complex program that provides professional services in support of advisory and analysis efforts associated with Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWfF)mission areas. The USAREUR-AF TMISS Team will research, analyze, and produce near- and long-term all source assessments on terrorism / counterterrorism, and multi-discipline counter-intelligence issues in response to CG USAREUR-AF's priority intelligence requirements and to enable U.S. and foreign partner counterintelligence operations. You will be a member of a team that supports the Intelligence Directorate of the Army Component Command of both the US European Command and US Africa Command. As a CACI SOAS USAREUR-AF Lead Intel Planner Languages you will embed at Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Federal Republic of Germany and may travel within both theaters as required, to perform services at locations within the USEUCOM or USAFRICOM AOR or Area of Interest (AOI) to meet mission requirements in both CONUS and OCONUS locations. These positions are contingent upon SOFA approval or commensurate work-Visa requirements at the primary place of duty. Employee must be willing to work shifts, overtime, and/or deploy to austere or hostile fire zones as required. Responsibilities: - You will manage a small to mid-sized team consisting of experienced professionals. - You will lead, direct and review the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. - Your focus will be on policy and strategy implementation for short-term results - You will provide innovative low-risk solutions to problems that are moderately complex to difficult - Collaborate with other TMISS program leaders, and influence others outside of your job area - Perform as the recognized Intelligence Languages Programs subject matter expert - Lead the development and execution of linguistic and translation support strategies for intelligence operations, exercises, and training events. - Collaborate closely with USAREUR-AF leaders, subject matter experts, and linguists to identify language requirements and ensure effective integration of linguistic capabilities. - Create comprehensive linguistic and translation plans that encompass various languages and dialects to support intelligence collection, analysis, dissemination, and reporting. - Coordinate and oversee linguistic assets, including translators, interpreters, and language analysts, to ensure seamless language support across operational activities. - Manage the training and professional development of linguistic personnel to enhance their skills and proficiency. - Develop and maintain linguistic databases, glossaries, and translation tools to facilitate accurate and consistent communication across languages. - Liaise with internal and external partners, including international organizations and host nation counterparts, to enhance cross-cultural collaboration and understanding. - Monitor and assess linguistic and translation performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending adjustments to enhance linguistic support effectiveness. - Stay informed about evolving linguistic technologies, methodologies, and cultural nuances to continually improve language capabilities. - Serve as a DTS Reviewing Officer (RO) within the DTS claim process, limited to 5-level responsibilities, as outlined in the appointment memorandum. Acknowledge and address the risks associated with contractor involvement in DTS work due to their exemption from pecuniary liability, expectations, or limitations under existing U.S. law. Qualifications: Required: - Bachelor's degree and 10 years of directly related military experience; OR 15 years of directly related military experience. - A minimum of three (3) years' experience determining the appropriate foreign language, regional expertise, and cultural capabilities requirements, based on the current situation and circumstances, for personnel deploying to their area of responsibilities in support of exercises and operations. - A minimum of three (3) years' monitoring language training budgets and assisting in the execution of funding for training, equipment acquisition, and facility development. - Minimum Security Clearance - TS/SCI Desired: - A minimum of three (3) years' coordinating logistics for US Military linguists. - A minimum of three (3) years' advising, regarding mitigation and solution strategies for linguist shortfalls affecting Intelligence operational capabilities.
