What you´ll do
* Together with the Global Consumer & Market Intelligence (CMI) Key Account Manager (KAM) for ‘Home Cleaning’, you will advise the International Marketing Team ‘Home Cleaning’, which is responsible for the global categories Toilet Care (brands: WC Frisch, Bref and others) and Insect Control (brands: Homekeeper, Combat and others), on all consumer-related issues
* Work together with the CMI KAM, diving into all the exciting insights about consumers, categories, and brands and supporting the International Marketing in making long-term plans for categories, helping to grow brands, launching new products, developing communications, setting prices, and figuring out the best assortment strategy
* Be responsible for all market research studies in these categories, so you'll be managing them from the very start to the end with the vendors and translate the figures and findings into actionable business recommendations
* Develop the in-depth consumer and category knowledge of these categories and support the CMI KAM and International Marketing with your knowledge
* Be responsible for a cluster of CMI research methodologies, developing and maintaining methodological standards for these methods. You'll make sure that Henkel always uses first-class and up-to-date methods by knowing the market, evaluating new developments, and optimizing existing methods
* Initiate meta-analyses of these methods across all studies in Henkel Consumer Brands and train marketing teams to better understand the context, submit improved test material and thereby develop consumer-relevant innovations
What makes you a good fit
* Master's degree in market research, marketing, psychology, or similar fields
* At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of market research, especially in market research agencies and preferably for the consumer goods industry
* In-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies required for everything from basic brand and category studies to new product innovation (from discovering consumer needs to validating the final product mix before launch)
* Strong analytical skills and excellent project management skills
* Very good communication skills: Confident and with very good consultative skills
* Very good English language skills, good German language skills are an advantage
