Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Procurement Operations Analyst to join the Procurement team in Glovo, Barcelona office on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
The Procurement Operations Analyst is an entry-level role focused on supporting the transactional aspects of procurement operations, providing direct support for incident and problem management, and addressing inquiries through the customer help desk. This role is essential for maintaining smooth, efficient operations within the procurement team and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through prompt issue resolution and clear communication.
1. Transactional Processing
o Monitor the purchase requisitions and purchase order creation following defined policies and procedures.
o Ensure accuracy and timeliness, supporting compliance with corporate guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs).
2. Incident and Problem Management
o Handle procurement-related incidents, performing initial triage and troubleshooting to resolve issues where possible.
o Assist in root cause analysis, helping to prevent recurrence and drive improvements.
3. Customer Help Desk
o Serve as a primary contact point for internal inquiries related to procurement transactions and processes.
4. Continuous Improvement
o Identify and suggest areas for process enhancement within transactional procurement and customer support.
Qualifications
* Some knowledge of procurement systems (preferably SAP Ariba) would be a plus.
* Strong attention to detail. Effective problem-solving and customer support abilities.
* Good written and verbal communication skills to maintain clear and professional interactions in English and Spanish.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team, open to guidance and development opportunities.
