POSITION
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Service Manager (All genders) to join our Corporate IT team in Cologne. In this role, you will address complex technical challenges and work closely with colleagues across all departments and levels to support their technical needs
CHALLENGE
1. Plan, coordinate, and manage the delivery of IT services, including infrastructure, applications, security, and support
2. Establish and maintain effective relationships with the clients and internal users and understand their business requirements and expectations
3. Define and implement strategies, policies, processes, and procedures, and ensure compliance with the best practices and standards
4. Oversee resources, contracts, and vendors to improve the cost-efficiency and quality of IT services
5. Coach, and develop the IT team, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction
6. Monitor and measure the performance and availability of services, and report on the service level agreements, key performance indicators, and customer feedback
7. Analyse and resolve issues, incidents, and problems, and ensure timely and effective communication and escalation
8. Identify and implement improvement opportunities and ensure alignment with the business objectives and the IT strategy
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...
9. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
10. At least three years of experience in IT service management, preferably in a similar role or industry.
11. Nice to have knowledge in IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, COBIT, or ISO .
12. Proficient in IT service management tools, such as Jira
13. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
14. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
15. Customer-oriented, results-driven, and quality-focused mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
16. Certification in IT service management is a plus
17. Fluency in English, spoken and written
