Working student (m/f/d) to support Analysis/Structuring & Valuation
For our office in Hamburg - ElbSide.

Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as a working student to support the Structuring & Valuation team in Business Area Markets.
Key responsibilities and duties
* Further development our volatility modelling landscape
* Implementation of local volatility / stochastic volatility model for commodities
* Pricing of structured products
* Being involved in and improve operational processes
Qualifications
Your profile
* You are studying mathematics, engineering sciences, physics, economics, computer science or a comparable course of studies and are at least in the third semester of your Bachelor's degree or in your master's degree
* You have a focus in mathematical finance and are familiar with non-Gaussian stochastic processes
* Enjoy programming
* You have experience with Python and analytic libraries (Pandas, Numpy)
* Fluent in English
* Enthusiastic about working close with other members of the team – sharing ideas and developing models together.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize own work, taking initiative to improve processes when required

* Start date: As soon as possible
* Working time: 20 hours per week, up to 37.5 hours per week (full-time) in vacation time
* Duration: minimum 6 months
