As Creative Director at ST. ROBO, you will lead the creative vision across media production, stage design, and show development. Working closely with the content team, operators, and technical engineers, you will oversee the conception, design, production, delivery, and integration of your projects. You will be the driving force behind innovative ideas and their seamless execution, ensuring that creative excellence and strategic goals are maintained at every stage. Through collaboration with designers, engineers, and partners, you will create groundbreaking concepts that push boundaries and deliver immersive stage and multimedia experiences.
Tasks
* Oversee the creative direction for production design, ensuring cohesive and innovative concepts.
* Lead the motion design team, driving creativity and excellence in visual storytelling.
* Address client and audience needs with tailored, impactful creative solutions.
* Define and uphold creative guidelines, strategies, and priorities for each project.
* Collaborate with creative teams to develop groundbreaking concepts.
* Lead decision-making to align with ST. ROBO’s creative vision and brand identity.
* Ensure smooth cross-departmental communication and maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage adherence to project budgets and timelines, working closely with the Technical Director and Producer.
* Resolve challenges during concept development, production, and delivery in collaboration with the team.
* Actively participate in meetings across concept, design, and integration phases.
* Inspire, mentor, and guide the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Utilize a strong understanding of technology and visual content production to drive informed decisions.
* Effectively communicate creative ideas through presentations and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Over 5 years of experience in creative direction, with expertise in artistic direction in multimedia, motion design, creative management, touring, corporate shows, or similar fields.
* Proficiency in M365, Slack and Asana.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Photoshop, AfterEffects, Illustrator) and Cinema 4D is required/preferred.
* Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
* Comprehensive knowledge of show direction, artistic direction, architecture, graphic design, motion design, 2D/3D animation, set design, lighting, and sound design.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, while excelling under pressure in collaborative team environments.
