Your responsibilities
* Taking over the disciplinary and professional management as well as development of the Service division of the Business Unit Uhde of the thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies segment. Reporting directly to the CEO of the Business Unit, ensuring alignment with global organizational goals and standards.
* The responsibility for the Service discipline includes a dedicated sales team for Service business as well as Revamps & Parts Supply, Operations & Maintenance Consulting and Digital Products.
* Developing a service business concept with a portfolio of offerings that provide integrated, long-term solutions for our customers along the lifecycle of our plants.
* Capturing a highly profitable service business by strategically commercializing long term service agreements.
* Developing and incorporating digital solutions in the service offering.
* Exploiting digital solutions that tie preventive and corrective maintenance, packaging technical systems and spare part concepts, 24/7 hours service support etc.
* Setting up a field service team that carries out customer visits worldwide, presents Uhde services providing qualified and committed onsite competence for all types of Uhde plants and identifies/develops business opportunities.
* Ensuring a regular, closer and improved customer care and customer satisfaction through a long-term service management.
* Continuously developing our employees to have an excellent technical, methodical and leading competence in the right quantity.
* Identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous optimization efforts.
* Ensuring early development of service business concepts with new technologies through alignment with technology and innovation.
* Close collaboration with our new business sales function to ensure we sell long term service agreements with new projects.
* Managing the interface to service engineering.
Your profile
* At least 10 years of professional experience in Service business in chemical and/or energy industry.
* Degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or similar), preferably supplemented by an economic degree (MBA).
* Experience in working with corporate decision makers, contractors and internal & external stakeholders.
* Proven records of leading international teams respective intercultural awareness and ability to leverage cultural differences.
* Extensive knowledge and experience with MS Office package.
* Drive and ability to work under high pressure while still meeting highest level of results.
* A strong customer orientation as well as a keen sense of interdisciplinary collaboration.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Exceptional organization and coordination skills.
