Tasks About the role (what you’ll do) A Health Coach is a critical capability for Eucalyptus in supporting our patients towards their health-related goals and outcomes. This is achieved by creating long-term engagement and relationships with our patients. In this role you will be the primary interaction point with these patients on our Weight program. They are trusting us to support their health journey. The primary responsibility for the Health Coach will be managing the communications process and engagement for our patients, end to end, via community management, group and individual patient communications. The role in short includes: Providing general advice and coaching for engagement in group and individual communications (think nutrition and movement advice, behavioural changes and meal plans) Patient community management and moderation Triaging, responding to and escalating communications from patients to other functions in the German and Global teams Directing patient queries and feedback to the relevant internal channel Reporting to a Operations and Strategy Lead and being an active team player Our team is small, so you may also become involved in other functions and support where needed In this role you will work with our clinical team, international operations team and delivery partners to ensure our patients receive a high quality of support and care. This role requires a high level of empathy, the ability to prioritise simultaneous activities and communications with multiple patients while ensuring high attention to detail, and a patient-centric-oriented approach. You will be interacting directly with real people dealing with real health issues and medical diagnoses and must be able to identify, respond to, and escalate interactions and situations appropriately in accordance with guidelines and for exceptions. This role will be important to the continued success of Eucalyptus and will filter important information back through the rest of the team so we can continue to improve the health of our patients. Requirements About you (who you are) You have at least 1 years of industry experience in nutrition counselling and/or health coaching (we prefer previous experience working in digital health or experience in obesity and diabetes treatment) You are naturally empathetic, reliable, caring and have a strong ability for creative problem solving. You are well organized, independent and can work well in a team. You are confident with technology and enthusiastic about a fast-paced environment. You are passionate about driving change in patient care. You are fluent in the German language You have a good command of English (bonus points if you speak other European languages) We prefer applicants who are registered with the German Nutrition Society (Dietitiens) and/or the German Nutrition Society (Nutritionists).
