We are looking for a well organized Localisation Manager, to oversee our translation projects, ensuring that all content is adapted to meet the linguistic and cultural needs of our target audiences in the German, French, Spanish and Italian speaking regions. The original language is English.
Tasks
* Develop and implement localization workflows to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality control
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of translation projects across multiple languages and platforms, translating technically complex content for a B2B audience
* Collaborate across-functions (i.e. with other Marketing teams, PR, Engineering) to ensure consistent and accurate localisation of all materials and touchpoints
* Manage translation agencies and freelance translators as well as an open source translation community, including selection, negotiation, and quality control
* Define quality standards by establishing and organizing linguistic and cultural guidelines, translation memories, glossaries, and style guides
Requirements
• Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
• Experience in localisation project management, preferably in the software industry
• Strong understanding of translation tools and technologies
• Organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and utmost reliability
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
• English, German and French are essential, any other language beneficial
