Our client is a Japanese technology company that has been around for over 50 years. More than 80 engineers, technicians, tradesmen, and sales personnel are part of their organization in Germany. They deal with potential and existing clients in Germany and practically all European countries. Their product portfolio includes metal-cutting tools, roller bearings, hydraulic equipment & systems, industrial robots, and machine tools.
They are currently hiring a Sales Manager for the Stuttgart market.
Responsibilities:
* Sales of cutting tools in the main sales areas of southern Germany and Austria.
* Customer management and acquisition of new customers.
* Provide professional advice and support to customers on all technical and commercial questions related to their product range, and conduct competent sales negotiations as a contact window.
* Actively use all available sales channels (in-person, telephone, social media, etc.).
* Practical demonstrations of their tools at the customer's site, including analyzing issues and finding solutions using their tools.
* Planning and organizing customer visits, training sessions, projects, and presentations.
* Maintaining visit reports in the CRM system.
Minimum Requirements:
* Training in the metalworking field or relevant knowledge in machining, as well as commercial know-how.
* Experience in field sales.
* Experience in the automotive sector or with a manufacturer of cutting tools is a plus.
* High willingness to travel, mainly within southern Germany.
* Good communication skills in both German and English, in both written and spoken form.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
* Driving license.
