You’ll make an impact by
11. You identify and develop tailored strategies to drive regulations and standards for the sustainability and circular economy of grid components and their supply chain and participate in relevant standardization activities and formulate corresponding recommendations within associations and bring together the main key points for our team across various regulations.
12. You optimize efficiency in external and internal committees and ensure successful progress and business focus.
13. You lead and handle regulation and standardization projects, drive the continuous development of our standardization portfolio and the expansion of our offerings into the relevant standards, and use your expertise and team orientation to stay relevant in the constantly evolving market.
14. You encompass monitoring and intelligence gathering of relevant policy regulatory and standardization developments, draft and defend policy papers, represent the team in trade associations and other forums, and communicate our needs to elected officials and regulators.
15. You lead and nurture relationships with other manufacturer standardization people, European, international and national standardizers as well as other official bodies and partners to work towards regulatory and legislative change-
16. You develop goals and strategies with your industry allies and lead project teams in their execution and develop regulatory proposals and handle rule-making activities with various regulators.
Your defining qualities
17. You have many years of experience in the field of regulatory and standards with exposure to top-level decision makers.
18. You have experience in EHS and energy politics, engagement in associations and official working groups, and know about ESPR, WEEE, EED, RoHS, and Reach.
19. You have solid understanding of Sustainability and Circular Economy including common guidelines and regulations and you are familiar with the processes of large infrastructure projects.
20. You have a background in LCA, ISO 14040 and 14044, and EPD calculation, ISO 14025, and EHS taxonomy.
21. You have a master's degree or equivalent in EHS management or an equivalent field, and you have practical experience with suppliers and service providers.
22. You have excellent communication skills and very good English and German skills to present in front of larger audiences and lead discussion, and to develop strong working relationships across different levels and functions.
