SUMMARY OF ROLE
We are looking for a Team Leader Engineering, to join our team!
You will work as a Lead Engineer and you will lead a group of (Lead) Systems Engineers coordinating and supporting the team in its day to day business and develops its members.
In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be:
1. Manage employee welfare and development to ensure we retain a motivated, engaged and successful team. Monitor the work performance and progress of the team and actively support them regarding all questions of the particular field.
2. Report and Support communication and planning of the team, propose all necessary trainings and workshop activities.
3. Ensure that the teams know how level meets the job requirements and applies the methodology, procedures and tools from the Project Management Office (PMO) to all projects.
4. In liaison with local or European engineering management ensure that there is a culture of continual improvement that leverages the resources of the wider team, technical and process standardization, process automation tools and the sharing of knowledge to drive continual improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Offering support regarding the review planning and preparation being the primary contact for all technical matters.
6. Take ownership of the Engineering activities on all allocated work and proactively apply methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the execution cost, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality standard.
7. Support the Project Managers in the development of a realistic and achievable project schedule and provide them with all the information to ensure that they are fully informed of resource requirements, progress and areas of risk for the Lead Engineer’s.
8. Fully understand the scope of work for all allocated Engineering deliverables and ensure that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget and schedule and that the relevant Project Manager is fully informed, at the earliest opportunity, of any customer initiated changes in scope.
9. Ensurethat all Engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s quality control processes and standard is achieved.
10. Support the Project Manager in the creation of an inclusive and supportive environment for all personnel within the project team and actively support team members in achieving any personal development objectives that may have been set for the project.
11. Actively contribute to any assigned bid activities to ensure that the customer’s requirements are fully understood and that innovative and cost effective solutions are proposed.
12. Actively share knowledge and experience within the team and the wider organization.

For This Role, You Will Need:
13. Minimal 6 years of experience in process automation projects and experience in the management of employees (technical team).
14. State-certified technician, completed vocational training or equivalent knowledge.
15. Fluently in German and English (speaking and writing skills).
16. Communicate with customers, suppliers and 3rd parties on technical matters.
17. Business insight to generate new business.
18. Valid driving license for cars.
19. Willingness to travel as needed, shorter (few days) and longer travels (weeks).
