GEA is continuously adapting its IT landscape including the related processes and tools. As a result, we always have many simultaneously running projects. These projects are related to both business applications as well as the underlying infrastructure.
At this moment we are looking for an experienced project manager for our IT infrastructure projects. We have several global infra structure projects running.
Working as an IT project manager within the Service Delivery Project Management team, you will contribute to deliver projects within time, budget and to the satisfaction of our customers.

You can expect to be responsible for the following:
1. Effective execution, coordination, and organization of multiple IT projects
2. Develop, refine, and manage project plans to ensure on time and on budget delivery
3. Arrange and manage the right resources required for the project within GEA IT organization and, depending on the project, also resources from external IT service providers
4. Proper reporting of project status to the project boards, service delivery management, to the service owner(s) and to other stakeholders
5. Identify and manage risks to ensure successful delivery
6. Keep track on pending issues and escalate where necessary
7. Change management activities that are related to the project deliverables
8. Excellent, timely and effective communication about the project to all stakeholders
Your Profile / Qualifications
We expect you to have proven experiences (around 5 – 10 years) in IT project management.
The following educational background, knowledge, skills, and competencies are relevant for this role:
9. Profound knowledge of IT infrastructure components
10. Master’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
11. Experience with project management frameworks, particularly Prince 2 (certification preferred)
12. Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban (certification preferred)
13. Experience in managing complex global programs with large multidisciplinary teams
14. Proven ability to manage an international team of experts
15. As this role is in an international environment, English language skills are a must. Both verbally as in writing. When you master any other languages that is considered a plus.
In addition, being a strong communicator, you will preferably regard yourself as a passionate person who is always willing to cooperate not thinking about problems but about their solutions.
