DSJ Global are partnered with one of the world's largest automotive Tier 1 Suppliers, in their search for a Head of Customer Logistics. This position will lead a team of 10-12 people in a complex and invigorating production plant. Please see the details below: Your Responsibilities: Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to teams in customer logistics, packaging, and shipping documentation, fostering their continuous development. Ensure seamless communication and coordination between customers, business units, production, and shipping/packaging departments. Proactively manage and escalate supply chain bottlenecks to maintain operational continuity. Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop accurate sales forecasts. Oversee the timely fulfilment of customer requirements and actively contribute to production planning. Maximise delivery performance and continuously enhance customer satisfaction and reliability. Manage and adhere to the cost centre budget, ensuring financial efficiency. Lead and support initiatives aimed at optimising processes and increasing overall efficiency. Your Profile: A degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification. Hands-on experience in order procurement and supply chain management, particularly in customer logistics. Several years of leadership experience in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing sector. Strong expertise in customer logistics, SCM execution processes, and operational order procurement within an international organisation. Extensive experience using SAP R/3 or S/4HANA in an operational setting. Excellent analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach. Strong communication and organisational abilities, with confidence in international environments. Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written.
