Job Summary
Are you passionate about finance and strategy? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We are looking for a Financial Business Controller to join our team of the Business Unit Advanced Film Solutions in Düsseldorf, Germany.
In this role, you will be the key link between the business teams (Sales, Strategic Product Management, etc.) and the Finance department. You will translate business strategies into financial insights, empowering decision-makers with the right data to drive success.

Your Impact:
* Financial Strategy & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models to support business strategy and decision-making. Support local teams in improving monthly variance analyses and reporting.
* SAP Key-User & Digitalization: Be the go-to expert for SAP-CO setup, ensuring smooth ERP use and leading future ERP migrations. Help drive digital transformation in finance.
* Strategic Advisory: Provide financial insights and recommendations to business unit leaders to enhance decision-making and financial performance.
* Process Improvement & Efficiency: Be an advocate for lean processes and digitalization, promoting efficiency improvements within the business unit.
* Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and present insights to senior management.
* Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and work on initiatives to improve profitability.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure financial compliance with regulations and company policies.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and foster strong relationships across departments.
What You Bring Us
* Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, business controlling, or a similar role.
* Skills & Competencies:
o Analytical and problem-solving skills by nature.
o You like to communicate and add storytelling to your cases. Meaning you like to translate numbers into meaningful insights.
o Experience in SAP ERP systems (SAP CO) and with ERP migration projects.
o Passion for process improvements and digital transformation in finance.
o A proactive and collaborative mindset—able to influence and motivate others without direct reporting lines.
o High attention to detail and accuracy.
o Languages: Fluent in English (C1 level) and German (C1 level).
