Your Role
The vision of the Omnichannel Sales (OCS) organization is to enable our customers (Eye Care Professionals) to win with consumers who want to buy online. The Head of Digital Measurement Platform is responsible for developing and implementing measurement solutions that will enable users to perform measurements with expert guidance only when required and will build on existing data wherever possible. Therefore, the Head of Digital Measurement Platform will lead the global product development, create and implement the technology roadmap, organize the “how” of product development and ensure its quality and long-term efficiency. The measurement products will be integrated into the Vision Care ecosystem as well as into solutions of large customers and key accounts. By monitoring the competitive landscape including tech start-ups and research institutes the Head of Digital Measurement Platform will provide valuable input to the OCS and VIS strategy going forward. Pilot products and IP will be generated to ensure that Vision Care stays at the forefront in providing convincing omnichannel solutions for our customers and cover our innovative strength in the future. Further responsibilities include:
1. Product development of digital measurement product portfolio
2. Alignment of product implementation and Go to Market strategies
3. Technology strategy development for Digital Measurement Solutions
4. Excellence in engineering execution
5. Facilitate and support cross department cooperation and collaboration
6. Manage interfaces to other departments and external partner as well as customers
Your Profile
7. Successfully completed masters/diploma degree in the field of vision science / optometry / ophthalmic science, or a similar field of study; Ph.D. will be appreciated
8. 5+ years of relevant experience on the job including digital product design, product development and product implementation
9. Proven record of self-driven / autonomous project management and steering
10. Knowledge of agile software development and applications, including new ways of working
11. Scientific and patent-related knowledge in the field of digital measurement is preferred
12. Industry experience on complex products in B2B and B2B2C environment
13. Multicultural experience in international companies
14. Strong result orientation (‘deliver-attitude’), self-driven and autonomous working style
15. Entrepreneurial spirit and data driven mentality
16. Attached to innovation, market trends and integrating them into product roadmaps and product development
17. Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and goal orientation strong presentation skills to convey complex concepts to stakeholders incl. senior management and external customers/agencies
18. Fluent communication – written and oral - in English and German
19. Analytical, data-driven with a good understanding of customer & consumer needs
20. High level of flexibility and ability to adapt to dynamic and changing environments
21. Willingness to deliver milestones on-time and quality
22. Passion for consumer facing, technology driven digital products that drive conversion, user behaviour and user centered methodologies
23. Capability of managing and steering projects via cross-functional intercultural teams
24. Willingness to travel internationally and to work with different time zones
