The Role We’re looking for an Accountant/Administrator to join our team in our newly renovated office in Hamburg, Germany. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) in-office position, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, detail-oriented environment. You’ll support our finance team, working closely with the Finance Manager and a full-time Accountant to ensure smooth operations across accounting, administration, and payroll functions. What You’ll Do Finance & Accounting Support Vendor management and handling debt, including dunning letters. Bank postings and preparation of liquidity overviews for management. Assist with month-end and year-end reporting. Administration Manage company insurance policies. Coordinate payroll with our external payroll provider: Prepare and check monthly payslips. Maintain HR files in collaboration with the payroll partner. Oversee fleet management for company cars (5–10 vehicles), including leasing contracts, registration, and damage administration. Administer time-reporting systems and other office tasks as needed. What We’re Looking For Experience in finance, accounting, or administration. A proactive, organized, and detail-oriented mindset. Availability to work 4–5 days per week (e.g., 4 hours/day for 5 days or 5 hours/day for 4 days). Ability and willingness to work in-office as main basis with potential for remote work on case-by-case basis. Fluency in written and spoken German is required; English proficiency is a plus.
