Position Overview Shockwave is seeking an experienced and dynamic Country Manager to lead our efforts across DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). In this business critical role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow patient access to Shockwave IVL in both the cardiovascular and peripheral spaces. We need a leader with a track record of excellence and a strong understanding of DACH markets, who can inspire and lead high performing teams. You will work closely with the local physician community, International Marketing, R&D and other key stakeholders to identify market needs, create relevant strategies and then execute plans to a high standard. Essential Job Functions Team Leadership - Build, lead and inspire teams of Country Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Marketing Managers and Sales Representatives to grow sales revenues, exceed sales goals and achieve corporate objectives. - Plan and lead sales team meetings and participate in sales leadership meetings and quarterly business reviews. - Promote and develop a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. - Provide coaching, advice, support, motivation, or information to help individuals meet and ideally exceed their defined sales objectives Market Development - Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. - Work hand in hand with reimbursement function to maximize access to all products. - Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive informed decision-making. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand presence. Forecasting and Reporting - Full PL accountability. - Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams. - Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent achievement of KPIs Cross Functional Collaboration - Be a strong voice for DACH within European Leadership Team. - Work closely with Marketing on go-to market strategies and see them through to successful completion. - Develop and test new sales strategies and tactics, replicating those that are most successful. - Provide feedback on market insights to influence product development and positioning. Qualifications Requirements - BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience. - Proven track record of leading sales teams in DACH. - Experience in cardiovascular or peripheral markets would be an advantage. - Experience of bringing innovative and disruptive products to market. - Outstanding ability to collaborate and foster positive working relationships across the organization (internal and external). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to travel over 50% if needed.
