Job Description
The Senior Cross-Segment Marketing Communications Manager is part of the global Marketing Communications team in the Business Unit Communications, Security Systems division. The Marketing Communications department is a strong and dynamic in-house creative services team responsible for global marketing communications and brand management for the Bosch Communications, Sound and Audio portfolio covering the brands Bosch, Dynacord, Electro-Voice, RTS and Telex. The diverse product portfolio includes loudspeakers, audio electronics, intercom, public address systems and more – and targets an equally broad audience from musicians to governments to stadiums. Team members are based in Europe, the US, Singapore and China.
Strategic Leadership:
1. Ensure a strong and specialized team of in-house experts who consult and support the segments in the areas of digital marketing, design and events
2. Digital – a team that ensures our digital channels best serve our customers, partners and brands; manages the onboarding, ownership, access and compliance of digital channels including websites, content management systems, social media, project management software etc. Ensures digital platforms address the needs of our brands and segments.
3. Design – a team that develops, documents and protects the corporate design of our various brands; directing and supporting the growing network of creative agencies through brand styleguides, digital templates and agency training materials
4. Events – a team that identifies the best way to leverage various types of events to meet specific segment goals; supports the execution of global / regional / local events through expertise, standardization and strategic resourcing
5. Asia Pacific & China Regional MarCom – support for the regional team (both regions retain their cross-segment MarCom coverage)
6. Develop and drive comprehensive digital marketing communications strategies that align with the company’s business goals and objectives
7. Lead the strategic planning and execution of digital marketing communications campaigns across web, social media, email, blogs, and other digital communication tools
8. Identify and leverage market trends and competitor insights to ensure a competitive edge in digital communications
Team Leadership and Development:
9. Build, empower and nurture a strong in-house team of specialized in-house experts who consult and support the segments in the areas of digital marketing, design and events
10. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of digital marketing communications strategies
Digital Channel Management:
12. Ensure our global / regional / local portfolio of digital channels best serve our customers, partners and brands
13. Ensure our global / regional / local portfolio of digital platforms address the needs of our brands and segments
14. Develop and execute digital marketing communications strategies across web, social media, email, blogs, and other digital communication tools
15. Manage and optimize digital marketing communications campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions
16. Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment of digital marketing communications efforts with overall business objectives
Technical Expertise:
17. Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of digital marketing communications tools and platforms
18. Manages the onboarding, ownership and access of digital channels including websites, content management systems, social media, project management software etc.
19. Ensure compliance with digital marketing communications regulations for digital channels
20. Collaborate with central IT and digital teams to integrate digital marketing communications platforms with other business systems as necessary
21. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of digital marketing communications tools, including CRM, CMS, email marketing, and marketing automation systems
Content Development and Optimization:
22. Consult content creators on how to optimize content for various digital channels to best engage target audiences and support brand messaging
Performance Monitoring and Analytics:
23. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital marketing communications initiatives
24. Utilize analytics tools to gain insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize digital communications efforts
25. Prepare and present regular reports on digital marketing communications performance to senior leadership
Innovation and Growth:
26. Stay abreast of emerging digital marketing communications trends, technologies, and best practices
27. Identify opportunities for innovation and growth in digital communications strategies
28. Lead the development of new digital marketing communications initiatives to drive engagement, conversion, and revenue growth
Qualifications
Requirements
29. Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Technology, or related field
30. 10+ years of experience in digital marketing communications, with a focus on strategy implementation and execution
31. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
32. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
33. Proficiency in digital marketing communications tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, CRM, CMS, email marketing, and marketing automation
34. Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS) and experience with content management systems
35. Excellent analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (, Google Analytics)
36. Strong project management skills with the ability to direct web development and design resources
37. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
38. Language(s): English, German an advantage
