Our Team:
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team belongs to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO)-section and is part of the Enterprise Risk & Outsourcing Management department. The team is responsible for central tasks in risk management and risk controlling. Our focus is on risks that are not covered by the collateral provided by our Clearing Members, the so-called default waterfall in accordance with our central regulatory basis, the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). We called it the uncovered risk area. Here ERM manages the risks classified as material, such as Credit Risk, Operational Risk and Market Risk, as well as Business Risk and Liquidity Risk. We are responsible for large parts of the regulatory reporting and act as a 2nd Line of Defense for the credit risk-based admission process and ongoing monitoring of our Clearing Members and other counterparties.
Your tasks:
We are looking for a Senior Risk Manager - Enterprise Risk Management to join our team. In this role, you will work across disciplines in our two pillars 1) REG (Regulatory Reporting, Economic Risk Management and Group Risk Management) and 2) TCO (Treasury Middle Office, Credit Risk and Operational Risk). You understand the regulatory topics relevant to your area and continuously work on their further development. You will support the team members in the optimization and automation of processes and be responsible for the administration of individual data processing applications (IDPs) or successively transfer them to IT. In order to be able to master this task, you meet the following prerequisites:
* Professional knowledge and work experience in the thematic priorities of the REG pillar and thus in regulatory and statistical reporting in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. EMIR, Foreign Trade and Payments Ordinance), in economic risk-bearing capacity and thus in the risk quantification of key types of risk, as well as in the area of risk reporting. Very good knowledge in the field of CCP and/or banking regulation is also the core of your professional profile.
* Professional knowledge and work experience in the topics of the TCO pillar, in particular experience with customer credit risk analysis (using financial and regulatory indicators) and in the area of data collection of loss events arising from operational risk.
* Technical knowledge and work experience in the establishment, support and further development of agile Excel applications (including the support of macros), in agile applications for process automation such as Power-Automate and in the use of modern reporting solutions such as Power-BI. The use of team board applications to structure tasks and create audit-proof process flows strengthen your profile.
Together with your colleagues in the ERM team, you will accompany the topics in terms of content and actively support them in improving processes and procedures as well as in documentation, testing, and support of the fixed written rules.

Your skills:
* Degree in Business Administration/Economics, Mathematics, Physics or Macroeconomics
* Several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of expertise at a central counterparty (CCP), a bank or consulting company or auditing, this includes in particular knowledge of the following topics:
* regulatory and statistical reporting
* risk quantification methods and risk-bearing capacity, including stress tests
* risk reporting
* Credit/Counterparty analysis
* Operational Risk and loss data collection
* Knowledge of the specifics of the energy environment is an advantage
* Mathematical skills, especially in the field of risk modelling and quantification
* Very good knowledge of the use of process and reporting applications such as Power-Automate and Power-BI
* Very good written and spoken English skills
* Very structured working style as well as high reliability and conscientiousness
* Strong and persuasive communication skills
* Ability to take responsibility for complex tasks and goals
* Ability to propose and implement solutions
