The Launch Excellence Manager (LEM) facilitates the successful launch of Pfizer breakthroughs in Germany through a cross-functional enterprise approach and global-international-local process coordination The LEM ensures launch excellence by providing hands-on PMO support for prioritized assets with an agile WoW The LEM drives expertise to solve recurring launch challenges by establishing standards The LEM identifies and overcomes launch barriers in a SWAT team approach together with relevant functions The LEM actively promotes knowledge sharing and builds a learning organization The LEM coordinates commercial pre-DP3 pipeline activities in-country The LEM supports launch goal/KPI setting, success measurement and reporting The LEM is an active member of the P&HE Team, collaborates with the other P&HE colleagues and supports One P&HE strategies, goals, and initiatives. Responsibilities Facilitation of the successful launch of Pfizer breakthroughs by coordinating the cross-functional teams Liaises with global asset teams (clinical, medical affairs, regulatory, pricing, commercial, launch navigation) to ensure local input at critical timepoints in asset development. Ensuring launch excellence through hands-on PMO support for prioritized assets Active launch Team facilitation: Leads the project management of new product launch preparations and coordinates the cross-functional teams (regulatory, legal, supply, marketing, access, public affairs, medical, channel strategy, etc.) to ensure on-time execution. Serves as a conduit to a Global Asset Team, together with the TA launch lead Supports the TA launch lead on setting up the cadence, the process, the deliverables as early as 2 years prior to launch to ensure on-time execution. This role oversees the cross-functional creation and submission of their asset’s Launch Stage-Gates and orchestrate critical launch planning processes such as launch sequencing, long-range forecasting to maximize total asset value Supports to localize global Asset Strategy: In partnership with the XFT, facilitate the refinement/localization of brand position, pricing, go-to-market approach, and other core elements of launch based on local market and competitive landscape Establish and foster ways of agile working Driving expertise to solve recurring launch challenges by establishing standards Management of global tools, such as Digital Launch Planning Platform (DLPP), and resources by the global teams, to ensure consistent standards for launch preparation across TAs. Supports the LEL on building a standardized and localized forecasting/launch prioritization methodology and establishes a formal review process/framework to pressure test across assets in a 1PG approach Develops local Procedures/ guidance/ guidelines to address & solve recurring challenges Identification and overcoming of launch barriers in a SWAT Team Approach together with relevant Fx Escalate & resolve launch risks Solve launch specific challenges by issue driven project management Taking care of knowledge sharing and building a learning organization Drives Launch Excellence as a learning organization Collects and establishes best practices for launch preparation activities. Provides Report & process Trainings Keeps local launch playbook up to date Aligns with the global launch teams to exchange best-practices of launch excellence.
