We are looking for a Key Account Manager Dermatology who is agile with a drive to build strong lasting relationships and who has an enthusiastic innovative mindset to come strengthen our Immunology Team. The position comprises the following areas in Germany: Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate.
About the role
The Key Account Manager Dermatology plays a vital role in fostering collaboration between UCB and national and regional stakeholders. This position involves developing and implementing strategic partnerships with dermatology associations, organizations, and networks, as well as collaborating across departments with internal stakeholders. This collaboration aims to ensure optimal engagement at the account and association levels, thereby enhancing UCB's positioning as a preferred partner in dermatology.
The Key Account Manager ensures adherence to the highest standards of productivity, ethics, compliance, and quality when engaging with external stakeholders, in alignment with the UCB Code of Conduct and industry regulations.
What you’ll do
1. Identifying, fostering, and managing partnerships with pertinent dermatology customer networks, such as professional associations on national and regional levels, in close collaboration across functions.
2. Representing UCB's dermatology portfolio in discussions with national and regional payers, regional KV meetings, and pharmacies, including online platforms, aligning with UCB's patient value strategy through cross-functional initiatives.
3. Nurturing and enhancing relationships with relevant dermatology customer networks to discern optimal partnerships and formulate a successful strategic framework.
4. Collaborating professionally with diverse external and internal stakeholders.
5. Advocating for the growth, sustainability, and profitability of the dermatology product portfolio.
6. Overseeing project budgets.
7. Ensuring compliance, upholding the highest quality and scientific standards, and coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and Medical teams for the implementation of local materials and activities.
8. Adhering to the UCB Code of Conduct and all scientific, ethical, compliance, and industry guidelines when engaging with external stakeholders.
9. Availability to travel approximately 70% of the time.

10. Certificate as Pharmaceutical Sales Rep and/or a university degree in medicines, pharmacy, or natural sciences (§ 75 AMG)
11. Ability to translate scientific and clinical data into commercial rationale
12. Strong skills in leadership, negotiation, relationship-building
13. Project management skills with ability to manage priorities in parallel and to track and evaluate results
14. Ability to use multi-channel marketing tools, e.g. digital assistant, advanced analytics, omnichannel customer journeys, persona segmentation
15. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Highly skilled in presenting in front of larger audience
16. Deep understanding of dermatology business including customer and brand marketing • Highly organized in administration and project management Experience in working in a cross-functional matrix structure with local and EU stakeholders
17. Experienced in using agile methodologies and ways of working
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
19. Proficiency in MS-Office and CRM system (e.g. Veeva)
