Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description
This role is a fixed-term contract, approximately until May 2026.
Key to this role are excellent market knowledge, first-rate strategic and time management skills, a flexible and committed attitude, excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to think both commercially and creatively about our releases, building innovative campaign strategies to maximizing commercial potential.
Responsibilities:
* Planning and executing media campaigns from kick-off through to release
* Development of core title strategy
* Managing of marketing budgets
* Supervision and briefing of media agencies on strategy, positioning and budget for film release campaigns
* Supervision and briefing of creative agencies on all campaign materials, i.e. TV spots, a broad variety of digital ads, OOH posters, print ads, radio spots and in-theatre materials
* Strategizing major influencer campaigns on various digital channels
* Working with our Dubbing department on trailers and all other dubbed materials
* Networking with the contacts of the major Digital Marketing Platforms, supervision of one of the big platforms
* Developing ideas and leading large-scale fan events for tentpole franchise titles along with planning and realizing premieres and special screenings across all titles from art-house to tentpole releases
* Working with the Publicity Team on briefing and managing social media agencies
Qualifications
* A real passion for cinema
* Ideally, you should have substantial experience including campaign planning for cinema films on the distribution or agency side
* Strategic feel for effectively addressing target groups
* Strong focus on comprehensive digital campaign planning (AV, Programmatic, Social, Influencer)
* Comprehensive understanding of all relevant platforms, an open minded-approach and interest in new trends and developments
* Experience in classic media planning (TV, OOH, Radio, print)
* Excellent command of English and German (written & spoken)
* Knowledge in the creation and production of advertising media (static and AV, digital and analog)
* Experience with the planning and executing of events (up to ~ 1,000 guests) would be a bonus
