As the new Head of Services for our German entity, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining a stable and high performing team while fostering a safe working environment. You will assume full profit and loss responsibility and drive strategic revenue and EBIT growth year over year. You will work collaboratively with various departments across the globe to synchronize operational strategies with broader business objectives.
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Oversee the Sales activities of the Services Division and Service Operations, including Field Service, Maintenance and several Service Centers across Germany.
* Develop and implement a localized strategy which is in line with the global and regional mid-range plan (MRP).
* Drive year-over-year revenue growth by establishing a team to develop new customers, compressors, and geographic areas.
* Lead development of service strategies to expand and strengthen client relationships.
* Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery.
* Establish and monitor a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for efficient order execution, organizational rightsizing, and maximizing operational efficiencies.
* Implement the best possible organizational structure, policies, and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with global and local guidelines, regulations and legal frameworks.
* Promote and maintain a positive work environment, encourage a culture with a growth mindset to improve employee engagement and teamwork.
* Lead by example, reinforcing a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
* Promote quality & safety initiatives within the organization.
* Champion a culture of innovation and problem-solving and stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive operational and functional excellence.
Requirements:
* Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales or related field.
* Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in similar industries, markets, and roles.
* Exhibit a profound understanding of P&L performance management.
* Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving strategic initiatives.
* Familiarity with international business practices and regulations.
* Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
* Customer focused and result oriented.
* Strategic thinking, team worker, self-awareness, able to work in a culturally diverse environment, hands-on mentality.
* Strong leadership and soft skills.
* Excellent communication skills including the ability to adapt the message and communication style to the audience.
