Whatever your role is, you are a part of a talented team that enjoys exploring and designing new technologies.Your new responsibilitiesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for semiconductor production equipment and MROAligning suppliers with future technology goals and driving innovation through early collaboration with R&D and operationsAnalyze cost structures and implement cost-saving initiatives through strategic negotiations, optimizing the supply chain for timely availability of equipment and MRO and maximizing valueCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment meets quality standards and mitigate procurement risks, utilizing negotiation skills to address quality issues and manage risks effectivelyConduct market analyses to secure advantageous deals and partnerships, aligning procurement activities with business objectives and future technology roadmap goals through cross-functional collaborationEnsure compliance with laws and corporate policies, driving continuous improvement in procurement processes and tools through negotiation techniques to enhance efficiency and value deliveryEstablish performance metrics for vendor evaluation and manage category performance to support future technology investmentsWho we are looking forCompleted university degree (Master’s, Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or a comparable qualification, or completed commercial training with extensive professional experienceSeveral years of professional experience in technical procurement, category management, and/or sales, ideally related to semiconductor manufacturing equipment and MROStrong focus on results (adherence to target costs, deadlines, and defined quality for all machines and materials to be procured)Intercultural experience and process knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing are desirableHigh degree of goal oriented, assertiveness and teamworkProficiency in MS Office and other common programsExcellent communication skillsFluent in both German and English for negotiationsWillingness to travel (10-20%)
