In this role you will manage all aspects of the Therapeutic Apheresis & Cell Therapies (TA/CT), providing business, clinical, scientific and technical expertise to drive sales, protocol development, training and ongoing support for Lovo and Cue and the Therapeutic apheresis portfolio.
You will be responsible for driving the selling process for products within the portfolio and ensuring that the systems are meeting customer expectations. This position manages the application support team and drives the commercial team for achieving the business results. The position acts as the primary conduit between our customers and the Global Product Management team.
Your Assignments:
* Align sales plan for products within the TA/CT portfolio to ensure that financial Budget and Forecast commitments are met
* Providing clinical, scientific and technical expertise to drive sales in the field of therapeutic apheresis & cell therapies
* Proactively identify opportunities for new Lovo and Cue hardware purchases and convert leads to opportunities
* Oversees the TA/CT application support team and customer training engagements, responsible for delivery of effective education for new and existing customers
* Responsible for all technical protocol development; must demonstrate intimate knowledge of customer operations and characteristics of different cellular products and be able to translate those factors into recommended instrument settings
* Collaborates with internal marketing teams to develop marketing materials and messages
* Travels to conferences to act as a technical resource for potential customers
* Researches and understands competitive and complementary instruments in the cell therapy field to help develop & recommend more broad cell therapy participation strategy
* Responsible for Performance Reviews (mid-year/yearly) for direct reports and give input for indirect reports performance reviews
Your Profile:
* Master’s Degree in Life Siences, Cell Technology, Cell Biology, Biomedical Engineer or related field
* Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Therapeutic Apheresis, Cell Therapy and Cell Therapy product development
* Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, managing teams and working with stakeholders
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and market access strategies
* Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking and problem solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in english, additionally language is a plus
* High willingness to travel (50%)
