The Position
The Global Procurement department of Envalior manages the raw material flow and is accountable for purchasing strategy, contract management and pricing/purchase requisition with Envalior's organization. We are looking for exceptional candidates to join the team in the capacity of Procurement Commodity Manager/TRADER. This position will implement and realize the strategy for Direct Spend for the Category, within corporate requirements and guidelines, in order to ensure results an all KPI's as defined within Envalior, and to contribute to the overall result for Envalior. There will be 10-20% travel, which could include international travel.
Requirements
* Live within the assigned market to identify cutting edge opportunities
* Fully engaged in spot markets for value optimization
* Define and validate global sourcing strategy for assigned category
* Lead complex supplier negotiations
* Implement risk management strategies
* Manage price risk exposure
* Build and maintain key relationships with suppliers, trading companies and producers
* Develop and present analysis to management to support future trading/purchasing positions
* Partner with management to implement commodity opportunities
* Track and communicate the developments in the market and relevant market intelligence, including supply and demand balance and competitor activities
* Direct contract Implementation activity with regional contract managers
* Manage/evaluate contract compliance, and supplier performance and take necessary corrective actions
* Participate in supplier audit
Requirements
* Education requirement: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering and/or business discipline. Masters degree preferred
* Several years of experience in supply chain and/or procurement with a global company
* Experience in chemical commodity purchasing and/or trading
* B2B experience a strong plus
* Energetic, self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Results- oriented and strong analytical skills
* Strong systems knowledge, including reporting tools and MS Office Suite
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, as well as, relationship building skills
* Very good English language skills (CV in english please)
