Hauptaufgaben
Assist the Property Book Officer or higher graded local national personnel in managing the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) against property balances for the 405th LRC, USAG Bavaria, and BASEOPS. Use Global Combat Support System (GCSS)-Army and other Logistics Information Systems to perform supply technician functions listed under the broad functions as such Account for Installation and TDA Property Books; Request Property, Receive Property, Store Property, Turn in Property, Assign Responsibility for Property, Create and Maintain Equipment Packages, review, sign and assign Accounting Requirement codes to Government Purchase Card requests; and post durable and non-expendable property ordered onto accounting records. Perform any other tasks not listed under the broader functions but is necessary to accomplish the mission. Assists Hand Receipt Holders as needed in preparing various supply forms, i.e. signature cards, SLOCs, Lateral Transfers, supply requests and several other documents. Prepares input for recurring and special statistical reports as required such as Campaign on Property Accountability, Non-expandable shortages, Installation Status Reports etc. Acts as a point of contact for all supplies and equipment matters within the warehouse. Provides supply guidance to customers and refers matters that cannot be resolved to the supervisor for solution. Conducts CSDP inspections as outlined in Appendix B of AR 710-2, Supply Policy below the National Level. Responsible for the procurement authorization and local purchase determination of supplies and equipment. Initiates local purchases Purchase Request and Commitment (PR&C) through automated systems such as the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). Processes paperless invoices in real-time in Invoice, Receipt, Acceptance, and Property Transfer (RAPT) formally known as Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Creates, submits, inspects, accepts, certifies, or processes payment on different document invoice types in a timely manner to prevent interest penalties from accruing against unpaid government invoices. Interfaces daily with Directors, Division Chiefs, Activity Chiefs, Storage Location (SLOC) and Equipment Package (EP) Holders, as well as anyone on the Installation who needs guidance on a logistics matter. May be required to perform other duties as assigned; the Supply Technician may be required to work under any office. Responsibilities may consist of managing inventories, receipts, issues, turn-ins, and distribution of supplies and equipment within the Property Book Warehouse.
Performs other duties as assigned.

C-5:
E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.
E&T Level II: 1 year of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level III and above: No additional experience required.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Experience B: Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled.
• Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.
• Office automation and Microsoft office skills are desired.
• GCSS-A (Global Combat Support System - Army) knowledge desired.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English Language Proficiency level C1 AND German Language Proficiency level C2 required.
